Carolyn Ellis and Cynthia Chapra will demonstrate different ways of manipulating leaves for floral arrangements.
The theme for Wheatland Bowl III will be "Hats! Kentucky Derby in Bloom". We will be providing the styrofoam heads and Carolyn Ellis will be discussing the mechanics. Please note that your 'hat arrangement' for this competition must include a form of leaf manipulation taught at the Workshop - therefore, it will be very beneficial for you to attend this workshop. Please bring BOTH SCISSORS and a small pair of SNIPS/CLIPPERS with you to the workshop. We will be learning various forms of clipping techniques and even the nautilus braid.
